Job Title:             Business Intelligence Analyst w/Accounting

Locations:           Alpharetta, GA

Job Type:           Direct Hire

Position Summary: The BI Analyst provides value-added data solutions and analysis to the business that result in driving improved business intelligence and reporting efficiencies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop, maintain, secure, and operate a SQL based data warehouse

• Map and define data from Compass, NAV, and other relevant sources

• Identify report requirements business process observations, and workflow analysis and effectively communicate results

• Implement forward thinking solutions by determining the business’ needs and developing data and report solutions to address those needs (transform data in critical information)

• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details to satisfy user requests and underlying needs

• Prepare reports that summarize conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization, as well as business partners

• Conduct analysis on market and sales pipeline data to optimize the business development strategy execution

• Develop Policies and Procedures related to the form, structure and attributes of data sources, BI tools, and systems

• Design, create and maintain end user training and related materials

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Strong business analysis skills.

• Works well independently and as part of a team.

• Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large.

• Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Finance & Accounting background required.
